I’m sure you noticed that in the last few weeks I have been much more active on social media. Before, despite checking my social media accounts almost daily I did not post anything and had any action. I decided to change and start to show a little more of me and my thoughts.
Why?
Every day I strive myself to do things that have a positive impact on me, on people around me and people in general. If I keep these things to me and do not disclose, they can be very interesting but only for me because no one else knows. So, I decided to disclose, show what I do, what I like to do, what I have done and what I want to do.
Why social networks?
Half of the world population uses the internet and of those, 75% use social networks, which shows that they are a good and easy way to reach a large number of people.
What social networks?
Currently, I use 4 social networks. Facebook is the largest social network with more than 1 billion users and of course an obvious choice. In Facebook, I follow closer my personal group of friends so it ends up being used in a more proximity way. Twitter is used to follow interesting people from all around the world and to share interesting facts and some thoughts about financial markets. LinkedIn is the oldest social network for me and the obvious choice for a professional use. I use it to track people and businesses and to spread and establish new business contacts. Finally, the least used for me, Instagram where I can see some interesting photos.
I hope that my new approach to social networks causes a positive impact on people, with my experiences and knowledge, as well as others have contributed to me.
